Who we are
Sussurra is an adult serialized-fiction app offered by Bots Smart Systems. For questions about this policy or your data, email privacy@bots.tec.br.
For applicable data-protection laws, Bots Smart Systems decides how the processing described in this policy is carried out and acts as the controller of data processed directly by Sussurra.
Data we process
Depending on the features you use, Sussurra may process:
- Account and session: email address, internal user identifier, session token, and expiration date.
- Library and reading: unlocked seasons, chapter, reading position, completion, and update dates. The text you read and private notes are not collected as metrics.
- Purchases: product, store, transaction identifiers, purchase status, and dates needed to validate and restore access. Sussurra does not receive your full card number or the banking information used on Google Play.
- Optional analytics: a random installation identifier and events such as opening or completing a chapter, reading milestones, viewing an offer, purchase intent, and responses to the format survey, together with the date, chapter or season, and consent version.
- Preferences: text or audio preference, interest in future content, analytics consent, and settings saved on the device.
- Minimum technical data: information needed for security, diagnostics, and connectivity, such as access logs kept by the infrastructure hosting the service.
Reading adult fiction may reveal intimate preferences. We therefore apply enhanced data minimization to reading history: we do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
What remains on your device
The provisional age confirmation, unsent queues, local preferences, and technical identifiers may remain on the device. When biometrics are used for discreet mode, the operating system performs the check: Sussurra receives only the result and does not access or store your fingerprint or face data.
Data processed only on the device is not sent to Sussurra unless this policy expressly describes synchronization with the service.
Why we use this data
- authenticate sessions and keep your library across devices;
- unlock, restore, and protect store purchases;
- save progress and resume reading in the right place;
- deliver media through temporary links and prevent abuse;
- measure, only after consent, whether chapters and seasons work as a product experience;
- comply with legal obligations and exercise legal rights;
- maintain the service’s security, integrity, and availability.
Legal bases
We process data when necessary to provide the requested service and purchase; comply with legal obligations; protect the service and exercise legal rights; or with consent, as with optional analytics. Consent can be withdrawn without preventing reading. Where legitimate interests apply, we use necessity, transparency, and safeguards consistent with user expectations.
Who may receive data
We share only what is necessary with:
- Google Play: for distribution, payment, purchase validation, and restoration under Google’s terms and policies.
- Infrastructure providers: for hosting, databases, storage, content delivery, email delivery, and security, subject to contractual duties and limited access.
- Authorities or third parties: only where required by law, a valid order, fraud prevention, or the need to protect rights.
Sussurra does not sell personal data, use advertising networks, or share reading history for behavioral advertising.
Retention and deletion
Authenticated account sessions expire after up to 30 days. Consent-based analytics are scheduled for retention for 180 days and may be deleted sooner when consent is withdrawn. The local analytics queue is also removed.
Account, library, progress, and preference data is kept while needed to provide the service or until the account is deleted. Some purchase and security records may be kept for the period required by law or needed for refunds, fraud prevention, and legal claims. Their use is then restricted to those purposes.
See the process at Delete account and data.
How we protect data
We use HTTPS in production, expiring session tokens, server-side purchase verification, opaque identifiers, restricted access, and temporary URLs for private media. No system is infallible; if a relevant incident occurs, we will take the containment and notification measures required by law.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request confirmation and access, correction, information about disclosures, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, anonymization, restriction, or deletion, subject to lawful retention.
Send requests to privacy@bots.tec.br. We may ask for the minimum information needed to confirm that the request comes from the account holder. Exercising these rights is free of charge.
Age and adult content
Sussurra is intended for adults and is not directed to children. The current age confirmation is provisional and stored locally. Before any launch requiring additional age assurance, this policy and the in-app notices will identify the mechanism, the data involved, and the relevant retention periods.
International transfers and changes
Some providers may process data outside your country. When this occurs, we use mechanisms compatible with applicable law and require appropriate protection for the data.
Material changes to this policy will be communicated prominently in the app or service before taking effect when required. The date at the top identifies the current version.
